Advanced Practice Wound Care Provider

Are you an Advanced Practice Provider interested in providing advanced wound care and passionate about compassionate care and healing? If so, consider joining our team!

 

MobileMend is a leading provider of mobile wound care services. We specialize in helping patients heal their wounds by providing the best possible treatment options in the comfort of their own home. This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who wants to start their own mobile wound care practice, or to expand an exsisting practice. We support our providers with resources and training to make their mobile practice succsesful.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program

  • A clinical background in adult, family, geriatric, podiatry, or vascular specialties

  • At least one year as an advanced practice provider

  • Board Certified/Prepared through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA

  • Wound care experience is a plus

  • Nurse Practitioner national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP required or ability to obtain

  • Current, unrestricted license in the state of assignment or the ability to obtain a license

  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain State DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority, post-where applicable

  • Current, unrestricted license in the state of assignment or the ability to obtain a license

Practice Details

  • The NP is an experienced member of the health care team who provides advanced wound care to patients in their home setting.

  • Assesses health status for wound care patient populations using advanced practice knowledge and skills.

  • Develops and implements an individualized patient care plan, including coordination of care between visits.

  • Thorough Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, paying special attention to factors that increase the risk of wound formation.

  • Advanced treatments such as surgical debridement or CAMP.

  • Medication Management: Order necessary medications and provide clear instructions for their use.

  • Educate and Communicate: Educate nursing staff, and maintain open communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams as required.

  • Contribute to effective and efficient practice management policies and practices that support patient access to medical care.

  • Proven ability to function at the highest level within the scope of practice.

  • Patient education and proactive disease management experience.

  • Demonstrates the ability to provide care or service by adjusting approaches to reflect the developmental level of the population being served.

  • This individual must demonstrate a commitment to providing exemplary patient care.
